A short biographical sketch with facts concerning the early life and adventures of Dudley Emerson Jones : Together with copies of his letters to His parents written while at Sea and after having reached California - "The Land of Gold." : typescript, 1908.

Recollections of his voyage from New York to San Francisco, Feb.-Oct. 1849, as a member of the Nautilus Co., aboard the Nautilus; and difficulties the company had after arrival in the city. Recollections also of his second voyage to California via the Isthmus of Panama in 1853 and return to New York in 1855. Comments on Digger Indians also included.
